  1. I don’t have Searchmanager installed in my extensions folder and it doesn’t show up in my browser, but it my Windows Registry under Chrome Extensions as “bahkljhhdeciiaodlkppoonappfnheoi”. But that’s the only place I can find it. I use SUPERAnitSpyware and it finds it and removes it, and I restart and it goes away for a few days, but then it comes back again and I have no idea where it’s coming from or why it keeps showing back up in my registry – because, as I mentioned, it’s not listed under Chrome Extensions, when I open Google Chrome, it doesn’t show up with any strange ads or anything out of the ordinary, and I checked %localappdata%\Google\Chrome\User Data -> Default -> Extensions as you suggested, but there is nothing there named “bahkljhhdeciiaodlkppoonappfnheoi”. Only in the registry under HKU\S-1-5-21-366045420-4078623103-2483216019-1001\Software\Google\Chrome\PreferenceMACs\Default\extensions.settings#bahkljhhdeciiaodlkppoonappfnheoi
Something keeps putting it back there, but I’m not sure what. But it could be a false positive, because it’s not infecting Chrome with anything, so far as I can tell.
