Initially, the site attracts visitors by beginning streaming. However, soon after it starts users are prompted to create an account to continue watching.

This is when the scamming process kicks off as users are first told that signing up for the account is free and they only need to provide their email address and create a password.

However, after clicking Continue, the users find out that they also have to validate their account which requires billing information and credit card details including the CVC printed on the back of the card.

Although most visitors have a tendency to leave the site after being asked to enter credit card details, however, you have already handed over your e-mail address and a password to the scammers and compromised your security on several fronts.

Many people have a habit of using the same email address and passwords across multiple accounts which makes them an easy target.

As a result, scammers can possibly use your email address and password to compromise your other account including online shops, gaming or streaming services, social media accounts, e-mail accounts, etc.

Therefore, it is recommended to avoid entering any information – especially email addresses and credit card details – on websites that appear suspicious to you.
