What Is The Dark Web And How To Access It?

Do you know what deep or dark web is? Here’s everything you need to know to keep yourself safe from prying eyes while accessing the hidden stuff over the Internet.

Dark web means the stuff hidden over the internet that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

And to visit the dark web content, you need to be well-prepared and extra cautious.

Because you may easily fall into the prey of legal consequences as there are countless illegal content found on the dark web which is prohibited to  access.

But still, there are some that you can access… but again, you got to be vigilant before even thinking to access them.

What is the dark web anyway?

Dark web contains the content that is not indexed by our popular search engines like Google, Bing, Baidu, etc.

And they cannot even be accessed with our regular combination of web browsers like Google Chrome, FireFox, Opera, etc.

Why? Because the found content within the dark web world mostly contains the illegal stuff.

Such stuff that you would not want to access, and thus it has to be done with all of the anonymity.

The dark web is accessed only through the specific kind of the terminology/software where the Tor wins the race.

Tor is the browser as it hides your identity through its multi-layered network relays which make impossible to sniff the location of the users while they access the confidential and the unsolicited stuff buried deep under the dark web.

Things to avoid while accessing the dark web

Be careful and mindful when up over the Tor to start accessing the dark web.

And I advise these much of the things that you should avoid at all cost while accessing the dark web.

  • Do not click on any links
  • Avoid sharing your real information
  • Do not use Google as your search partner
  • Avoid falling prey to hoaxes and scams

Do not click on any links

It is indeed not advised to commit this mistake on the regular web world, so how come you can commit the same over the dark web world?

Seriously not. Do not DO it for your own sake!

Clicking on the links that you do not feel trusted, may get you to face the bitter consequences to download the trojan, and to many of the illegal content which you do not want to or intended to watch.

So, get a good sense of the link before clicking it.

Avoid sharing your real information

Your name, your address, and even the real email address; you should NOT really share anything that can lead to revealing your identity.

Even with the nicknames to sound as close to your name, do not even try for that.

In case of the worst situation, any clue of the real information may get you into the legal troubles.

Do not use Google as your search partner

The link structure for the dark websites is different from the normal-looking URLs.

They do not end with .com OR .net and the domain names look awkward as well.

As for the search engines, Google does not provide the full anonymity even if you use it with the incognito mode on, thus any search done on the Google leaves the cookie or similar trackable stuff over your computer.

To deal with that, use either the Tor’s default search system or DuckDuckGo as they act as the guardian to respect users privacy.

Avoid falling prey to hoaxes and scams

Deceptive content in the form of hoaxes to incite your want to watch/access the content after paying the money; they are based to perform the scams and just the scams.

You may not detect if that is real or not but when the payment is made, you cannot do anything other than the regret.

So, be very careful about responding to the hoaxes. You can hardly pinpoint the originality of such.
