What is a MP3 Search Engine Hijacker?

MP3 Search Engine is a browser hijacker that provides works like a search engine which will lead to direct links to MP3 files.  Once it infects, this hijacker changes your browser’s settings so that it promotes its site and then set as your homepage and opens a new tab. It would falsely inform you that you need to download a font pack, and if you clicked on Download, this malicious extension could download. These kinds of pop-ups are never legitimate, so whenever you encounter it, you can be sure it’s bogus.

 Removing MP3 browser hijacker Virus from Google Chrome

1. Open google chrome and go to menu   
2. Now click on more tools option and select Extensions
3. Remove the unwanted Extensions by clicking on the delete button
   
4. If your Search engine is changed and you want to manage your search engine
5. Select the setting option in the Chrome menu
6. There is an option of ‘search engine’ and then select ‘manage search engines
   
7. Delete the unwanted search engines
8. Select your default website as a default search engine.
   
9. Or you can reset your browser by selecting the reset option from the setting at the bottom of page.
